Fleet Ilya is a taboo-breaking British label with a cult following for their cleverly utilitarian and beautifully sculpted leather accessories, which features their signature use of interlocking leather components constructed like moveable joints. The designer was classically trained under master saddler Robin Cochrine and the equestrian influence can be seen throughout the hand-sculpted collection of bags, corset belts, cuffs, collars and harnesses. Supple leathers are layered and fastened with studs like moveable joints creating sculptural forms – that evoke high-end craftsmanship and playfulness.
